Your privacy, plainly.
This is a personal blog. It has no accounts, comments, newsletter, advertising or analytics. Here is the little that happens to your data when you read it.
Who is responsible
I run this site and I am responsible for it. You can reach me on LinkedIn or X.
What I collect
Nothing that identifies you, on purpose. There are no sign-up forms, no comments, no tracking pixels, and no analytics or advertising scripts. The share buttons are ordinary links: nothing is sent to Facebook, X, LinkedIn or Reddit unless you click one.
Cookies and local storage
Reading the site sets no cookies. The only cookies keep me signed in to the site’s private admin area; they are strictly necessary and only ever set for me.
One interactive article remembers whether you chose its light or dark theme, in your browser’s local storage. That preference stays on your device and is never sent to me.
Data needed to deliver pages
Like any website, delivering a page means your browser connects to servers that see your IP address, your browser type and the address you asked for. Images and other media come from Bunny.net’s content delivery network, which processes that technical data to serve the files, under its own privacy policy. The server that hosts this site may keep short-lived technical logs for security and reliability. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font service. I do not use any of this to identify or profile you.
Your rights
Because I don’t collect personal data about readers, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you think I hold something about you, or you have a question, contact me and I will answer. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this changes, for example if I add a newsletter, I will update this page and the date above first. The terms cover the rest.
