A builder first.
Always curious.
I’ve been chasing the dream of human-level AI since childhood.
Literally. My first attempt at a chatbot was at thirteen.
The curiosity came first.
A Commodore 64, QBasic, and a wildly optimistic thirteen-year-old. That first chatbot flopped, badly. But it sparked an obsession that never really went away.
At university, I fell in love with convolutional neural networks, backed by a foundation in applied mathematics. I started a master’s in AI, then left before the final project. I wanted to build things and see what happened.
There’s a particular kind of understanding you only get by making something.
Then came the building.
In 2015, I built Deep Dream Generator, an early AI image generation platform that grew into a global creative community. In 2020, I founded Aifnet to build practical generative AI products across images, video, and agents.
Some things worked. Some didn’t. I loved both. Today I’m interested in what happens when powerful models meet real problems, real constraints, and people who want to make things.
What you’ll find here.
Experiments with enough detail to learn from. Numbers with their assumptions attached. Things I tried, what surprised me, and what I still don’t understand.
This is my working notebook from the edges of AI. I’ll share something when I think it’s worth your time.
Human curiosity.
AI collaboration.
Written in collaboration with AI. The ideas, experiments, and editorial decisions are mine. AI helps me develop the writing, code, and visuals.
I’m responsible for what I publish here, including any mistakes. AI involvement is part of the process, and I want that to be clear from the start.
A small home for big questions.
Built with Next.js and SQLite. The design brings together condensed typography, graphite machinery, and signal orange in a full-width editorial layout.
